Nice website, look forward to your future projects!
Comment by Nate Steinbrink April 7, 2008 @ 10:32 amI think this email should be addressed to Jon Bailey
Our review article “The Many Facets of Natural Computing” has just appeared in the “Communications of the ACM”, Oct.2008, vol.51, no.10, 72-83 http://mags.acm.org/communications/200810/ (I can send another link if this one does not work).
We were pleased to see that our article on natural computing was chosen as the cover-story for this issue, because this review allows us to inform a very broad and general audience of computer scientists about the developments in this exciting and important research area. (CACM arguably has the largest readership among all computer science periodicals.)
It was a total surprise for us to see that the article included 6 colour images, as well as the cover-page picture. This was never discussed with us by CACM. However, this happens to be one of the fortunate cases in life when a complete surprise turned out to be a very pleasant one! We really do like these images and believe that they add to the value and impact of the review.
With this email we would like to thank you for providing the image on page 74 for our review.
With very best wishes,
Lila Kari and Grzegorz Rozenberg

P.S. A by-product of having your picture related to our article is that we could go to the link provided in the caption, and learn more about your very interesting work.
